The ISEC Pedestrian Bridge (PedX) achieved an Envision Bronze award for sustainable infrastructure. The project enhanced and restored public space along Columbus Avenue and maximized the use of durable materials with recycled content.
The Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex (ISEC) achieved a LEED Gold Certification by adopting a number of measures.
Northeastern has 7 LEED certified projects including International Village the first certified campus building in 2010. All new building projects are required to meeting a LEED Gold standard and achieve high energy efficiency standard.
