Students at the Oakland campus are enjoying the sun and everything the Oakland campus has to offer!

A group of Northeastern students volunteered with the National Park Service to learn from rangers about preservation vs conservation and the importance of protecting the environment.  

Northeastern University received a Silver ranking in its first-ever Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, or STARS, report submittal.

At a recent Zoom webinar hosted by the D’Amore-McKim school of business, Sue Higgins, Associate Director for Materials and Recycling at Northeastern, met with other recycling gurus and discussed the future of Northeastern’s recycling programs.

Kinol, along with four other students and one professor, recently published a paper that explores the current state of climate justice in higher education and the future possibilities for implementing a focus on social science and climate justice within institutions.  

The student government association, or SGA, has an election coming up and sustainability is at the forefront of candidates’ minds.

Northeastern marketing and entrepreneurship student Michelle Beaudette strives for sustainability within the beauty industry by reducing plastic waste through her beauty company Kaolin Beauty while promoting self-care.
