Improving Collaboration, Efficiency, and Transparency
Project Controls within Facilities at Northeastern University is responsible for the Integration and management of sophisticated technology and project management systems for Facilities such as e-Builder, Archibus, and Bluebeam. Their efforts improve collaboration, process efficiency and data transparency in order to achieve excellence in project delivery through best practices.
e-Builder at Northeastern
e-Builder is the cloud-based project management software utilized by Northeastern to deliver capital projects. This system enables collaborative communications, standardized processes, and advanced reporting. To ensure accurate data archiving, we require all entities working on capital projects to utilize e-Builder thought the entire project process. The University will provide training and all user licenses necessary for project participants.
Northeastern offers e-Builder express training sessions to all vendors providing service on capital projects. These sessions have been developed to educate users of all experience levels. Training classes are open to all members of the project teams and are typically 60 minutes long.
Registration is required for all training sessions. Please note that vendors must currently be working on an active University project and should already be assigned an e-Builder username and password to attend sessions. For further inquiries or to register for training, E-mail [email protected].
The e-Builder Lab provides current project participants with an opportunity to receive one-on-one technical assistance in the use of e-Builder, Northeastern University processes, and to ask questions related to project delivery. No reservations are required.
