Planned Speare Place & North Lot Closure

As part of the University’s efforts to enhance and improve its utility infrastructure, North Lot, as well as Speare Place will be closed from Wednesday, May 10th through Friday, August 4th.

Safety Escort

 

 

Northeastern Students who live off-campus can catch a free ride home at night by using Northeastern University Police Department’s RedEye Safety Escort.  Pickups are available every half-hour at Snell Library daily from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.

 

  IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The service can be accessed by downloading the RedEye app.
  • The service is available to students living within a two-mile radius of the campus center.
  • The safety escort service is not intended to be a taxi service.
  • Transportation will not be provided to workplaces, restaurants, airports, bus terminals etc.
  • Students who display disruptive behavior or are intoxicated may not use this service.

 

Students, faculty, and staff may request personal safety escorts at any time of day between campus and home, work, .by phoning Northeastern police at 617.373.2121.
