Temporary Closing of the Access Road Along the T wall

The Planning, Real Estate and Facilities Division has scheduled a crane pick for Saturday, February 4th from 6:00 am to 9:00 am adjacent to Hurtig Hall.

This pick will necessitate the temporary closing of the access road along the T wall. NUPD will be providing detail service to direct any traffic in front of Hurtig and beside Cullinane.

Safety Escort



Northeastern Students who live off-campus can catch a free ride home at night by using Northeastern University Police Department’s RedEye Safety Escort.  Pickups are available every half-hour at Snell Library daily from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.



  • The service can be accessed by downloading the RedEye app.
  • The service is available to students living within a two-mile radius of the campus center.
  • The safety escort service is not intended to be a taxi service.
  • Transportation will not be provided to workplaces, restaurants, airports, bus terminals etc.
  • Students who display disruptive behavior or are intoxicated may not use this service.


Students, faculty, and staff may request personal safety escorts at any time of day between campus and home, work, .by phoning Northeastern police at 617.373.2121.
