The link above details our current prices and applicable rush fees. To avoid a rush fee, please place your order at least 10 business days prior to your desired due date. Weekends and University recognized holidays are not business days. We accept orders as early as six weeks before your event date. Orders submitted for events more than six weeks away will be canceled.
After the order is complete, you will receive a copy of your receipt via e-mail. Receipts are sent on the 15th of each month. You will have 10 days to review the receipt for errors before your account automatically is charged on the 25th. Full details will be provided with each order.
Nameplates are the signs outside of office doors indicating the occupant(s) or department. Nameplates are simply vinyl letters applied to a plate and our shop is responsible for carrying out your request to change that text. Please allow our team to do this work. If you rip a plate o the wall yourself and it causes damage to the wall, you are responsible for a $50 patch/paint repair fee.
Please visit the How to Place an Order page for more information on how to submit a nameplate request. If the order is incorrect, you will be charged an additional fee and it will take more time for us to make a second trip.
Receipts will not be sent for nameplates. You will have a copy of the work request, a notification when it is complete, and an automatic charge to the budget number you provided. Please use the price list above as your backup to validate any charges. If you feel you were charged incorrectly, please reach out to us at [email protected].

This policy serves as the framework by which keys/cards to University buildings will be issued, monitored, and maintained. It is intended to allow the University to establish a recorded chain of custody for all keys/cards issued, restore physical security in a timely manner whenever key/card control has been compromised, and avoid potentially significant costs due to theft, vandalism, or excessive rekeying of locks.
Only authorized persons may be given entry access to buildings and locked spaces on the University campuses. To obtain keys for entry access, an Access Request Form must be completed and signed by an appropriate authorizer. Access Request Forms can be accessed through the Work Request System located in Employee Hub under Resources.
Contractors working for the University requiring access to the campus buildings should consult their Facilities contact regarding the Keytrack process. Please note that valid photo ID is required when requesting keys from the Facilities Customer Service. For further questions regarding the Keytrack Process, please email [email protected].

Finance requires all assets to go through the asset disposition process, even if the items are not capital assets. This includes computers, monitors, laptops, tablets, phones, printers, scanners, fax machines, audio/visual equipment, and lab equipment. Once the form is submitted, the Requestor’s supervisor will receive an automated email to approve the request, and then the form will be reviewed by OIS and Accounting.
After the review process, a work request will be automatically generated authorizing Facilities to collect the equipment for recycling/disposal. The Requestor does not need to submit a work request and does not need to contact OIS to coordinate the collection or arrange for data to be wiped. All items picked up by Facilities are temporarily stored in a secure (locked) area until collected by our vendor. Our vendor wipes all data-bearing items and provides evidence to the University documenting the data destruction process.
Don’t throw out your used toner and ink jet and toner cartridges! Recycling them is easy at Northeastern, just follow the steps below:
