Sasaki
Northeastern has retained Sasaki, a Boston-based interdisciplinary architecture, planning, landscape, and design firm, will assist with the planning effort. Together with PREF, the Sasaki team has begun a year-long planning process to file the IMP with the BPDA in late 2023. Link to site

New Battery Drop-Offs
Batteries silently power many of the products we use daily, but when they go dead, what should we do with them? Simply drop them off in recently introduced battery recycling bins across the campus. Lithium and alkaline batteries are accepted!
800 Bed Rails in Two Weeks
When dorms were upsized to accommodate more students, and their vendor was unable to meet the deadline with the additional demand, Northeastern’s carpentry shop stepped in to fill the gap. The team worked overtime to make and install 800 bed rails in two weeks, to be ready for students by September move-in.
